A Transfer Surprise :)
What an awesome week!
First i loved hearing about how everyone was doing this week, and its so exciting to hear how the whole family is getting into the missionary work :)
This week really was a GREAT week. It was a little crazy though so i cant remember everything, but ill hit some of the big ones.
The most exciting thing was Susan was baptized this Saturday! it was so amazing to see her take that step! It was at 9:00am and things went really well, the only thing one thing really went wrong. All week Susan had been telling me " I wont do it if that water is cold, I wont" haha so ALL week ive been promising that the water would be nice and warm. But when we got to the building at 8 we started to fill up the font, and by 9:10 it was still only one step deep. So in a panick because we needed to start, i flipped on the cold water too. We let the Water run through the whole service, and thankfully it was full when it was time for the actual baptism. Susan was pretty ticked though because it ended up making the water VERY cold haha. She came up to me after and said "OHHHH YOU LAIR! That was like the Polar Bear Plunge in there!" haha and she has yet to stop telling me that :)
Over all though the baptism was GREAT and there were tons of people there to support her. Sister Cobabe was there as well as some other missionaries that susan knew and it was really fun to see all of them.
The other exciting news was that Friday night i got a call from my mission president. I assumed it was something about our baptism..but Nope. He asked me if i would be willing to take an assignment as a Sister Training Leader. haha I have been freaking out about it for days, because well, thats a lot of responsiblity i feel like. We are in charge of helping train and just help all the sisters in the desert part of the mission.
I am still in Mesa Linda haha going on 7 1/2 months :) but i have a new companion!
Her name is sister Davis. She is From Hyrum Utah, and went to USU for graphis design. She is awesome and im way excited to start working with her :)
(oh and sister Johnson and sister Cobabe are comps now, and i get to do exchanges with them now as a STL!)
Anyways those were the 2 highlights..and they kind of trump everything else that happened this week haha.
Ill try and send some pictures later, but theyre all on sister Cobabe and Sister Johnson's Cameras
I love and miss you all so much!

Diapers, Lots of Diapers
Good week!
So this week was good, but it went by so fast!
Some main points from this week.
We spent a lot of the time getting Susan ready for her baptism this Saturday. We and really excited and so is she. I feel bad though because one of the families in the ward set up their sealing for this Saturday too (they set it up after Susan announced her baptism) and so a lot of the ward wont be there. She is still VERY excited though.
We had a lot of lessons fall though this week which is always really hard and frustrating, but that's okay. At one point this week we went to check in on our investigator lance, because he missed a lesson we had set up and we wanted to see what was going on. So we stopped by his house and there were big piles of rocks balancing on each other and i thought it was kinda weird, but then at some point during the conversation he told us that he did that last time he went to outer space and a bunch of weird stuff like that, and he showed us that he has a dream journal and that he made his own language. haha Needless to say we realized in this visit that Lance struggles with the word of wisdom. a lot. haha but he still a very nice and sincere guy. hahahha i almost forgot, while at his house, his dog pooped on my companions shoe. It was pretty dang funny.
Umm only other thing that happened was we spend 4 hours helping a less active family keep out their back yard. We originally only planned on staying for an hour but the task too much longer then we thought. The yard was FULL of broken bottles and diapers, and other trash, but mostly those too. While carrying a trash bag out of the back yard though, a broken glass bottle i threw in there poked threw and sliced my leg :( it didn't hurt too bad, until i let sister Johnson clean it with alcohol later, haha that stung.
And the last thing, just to explain the pictures, while tracting this week, me and sister Johnson walked past 4 empty house lots in the middle of a neighborhood. No one thing about Victorville is that people dump trash EVERYWHERE so while we were walking past these empty lots, we kept seeing huge piles of diapers, we counted. There were about 40 in this little strip of land. GROSS Haha.
Anyways Things are going well.
We're working hard and seeing the blessing from it.
Hope all is well with you all. I love and miss you!

Picture i keep forgeting to post.
These are of me and sister Johnson with socks an investigator gave us for Christmas, one of us with a humngo tumble weed, and a turtle i made because i miss brah brah haha
also i forgot to spell check the last entry post thing. So i apologize. I try to type fast so i can write more people.
This week was Great,
I know i wrote on THursday but i dont really remember what i included and didnt so sorry if any of this repeats.
I went to the Temple, which was a MAJOR highlight. And Even better, i got to see jessica and the kids there!
theyve gotten really big already! its nuts. You dont really realize how fast time is going by untill i see things from home and realize that time goes on with out me there haha. I can believe in 2 week i will have been in the mission feild for 6 months! so crazy.
Umm and the rest of the week has mostly been getting susan ready for her baptism. We had her try on the baptismal clothes to see which ones fit and everything. and she is just really excited.
THis week we have been helping her quit smoking. We wanted to do the typically missionary program but she said she had her own way of doing it and she wanted to do it that way. We were worried at first BUT shes been great and hasnt smoked for like 5 days! (she did this before we taught Word of Wisdom because we told heer she needeed to quit for baptism)
We taught her The word of wisdom offically this week, and it was kind of funny. We told her we what we were going over, and she said. "Nope i read the whole pamphlet and were good. but i wont give up the iced tea, ill make it super weak, but i wont give it up" and i kind of got mad haha and started to ask her why. and she just wasnt having it. But then she finally came around and told us its what she replaced smoking with haha so i told her she could have Herbal tea, and she said she couldnt becuase she didnt have money to buy any. So i went to the store and bought her some that night so she would stop.
WE also asked if she wanted a blessing and so we set one up for the next day. When we got there her husabnd told us he "wanted to be a mormon too" so thats awesome ebcause he previuosly wasnt really interested. So thats cool. And Susan's brother is married to the Chorister in our ward (hes not a member) adn we got the chance to talk to him for the first time and it seems like her is warming up to the idea of the church more and more! Im so excited for this family.
Anyways thats all.
I love and miss you all,

Hey Everyone!
So i went to the temple today and that is why i wasn't able to write anyone on Monday.
This week has been pretty crazy, so ill try and go over some highlights :)
Susan has decided to be Baptized!!!!
we are so excited. We had her watch the restoration video and pray about Joseph Smith to see if he was a prophet and if the Book of Mormon was true and the on Sunday she went to church and we saw her on Monday and she said it just finally clicked so yay!! haha She is planned to be baptized on the 25th of January! but we just found out today that she got kicked out of her house so...we need to go and figure out whats happening once things cool down between her and her family. So keep her in your prayers.
We found 3 New investigators, all of which are awesome! but i really just want to write about one named lance. He's 40 years old and A total HIPPIE/SURFER guy. He had LONG hair (way longer then mine, even before i cut it) and a long beard. But we tracted a dirt road in our area that not on any maps and found him there, and he is awesome! We taught him the Restoration and when we got to the first vision, he started laughing and was like "WHAT! OH MAN....WHAT A TRIP!" haha which makes him sound like he doesn't take it seriously but he is really sincere. And he told us about his kids and they all have really weird names. the only ones i remember are Zia and Solarice. Anyways. He is cool.
Me and Sister JOhnson are really starting to get along. haha the other night i was on the phone with our zone leaders, just giving them an update on our area, and in the middle of the conversation, she chucked a hackysack at me as hard as she could (mind you at home she plays one like 4 softball teams at the same time) and i just busted up laughing and then i was on the phone with our District leaders and we all got in this huge debate and she just started throwing stuff at me again. Doesnt sound like a good friendship...but it was funny.
Today we got to go to the Temple which i awesome!
haha i honestly cant remember what else happend this week... any i forgot my camera which usually jogs my memory. But i guess that was all the important stuff!
I do have my companions camera however so i will add a collection of random photos from the past 3 or 4 weeks.
Alright as for the pictures...
1) weird pioneer dolls we got at a follow up for the new missionaries (for sister Johnson)
2) Me with on of the Tumble Weeds, surprisingly not the biggest one ive seen on my mission
3)me wearing a weird face mask that mom sent me haha i saw it and thought it looked like a mexican sumo wrestler so i scared my companion while wearing it and she took this picture after.
